O2 sensor

O2 sensor

hello fellas,
I am planning to change O2 sensor on my 93 GXE .I got a chiltons 93-98 manual but it says someything abt having 2 O2 sensors . Does anybody know how many are there ? Also I am really confused about its location .Help !!!!!!!!

welcome to maxima.org. Please read all the FAQ posts at the top of this forum. Tons of great info there.
There is even one page which shows many detailed pics of the Y-pipe and where the O2 sensor is on our cars.

I'd recommend getting a factory service manual for your car either from the dealer or from ebay. The chiltons is useful, but like you just found, there are many differences in cars from 93-98 (it covers 3rd and 4th gens).
