mucho's money into max!!!

ok my mechanic just brought maxine home....$500.00!!!!!! new struts front and rear, new front wheel barrings, new axles, finally got my rims back, new tailight, radiator flushed and tranny flushed...... he had my car for the past 3 days!!! glas to have her back!

What struts did you get? How much better is the ride control/handling now? I think I need new struts, but have been putting them off.

I just put some Monroe "sensatrac" on mine about a week ago and the dam car rides like a cadillac. That's not good when the car is already lowered an inch and a half! I keep rubbing the wheels against the inside of the fender. I should've done some research before I bought them. I need some stiffer struts!!!!!

definetly get Tokico struts. while you're at get some springs. For handling go eibach, for drop and good handling go intrax. good luck

That's good money for all the work you got done. And yes, getting the Monroes was a stupid idea. Good luck with your Tokicos and Eibachs. Or if you just want good OEM style struts go for KYB's.

yea i went with the tokico's , the ride is great! i should have put the spring s on too but i didnt want my bike to feel neglected its hard having 2 kids to look after!!! spoiled ones at that!
