Parking brake light on/off

My parking brake light goes on and off and I don't know why. The parking brake is not on, the oil level is ok... Sometimes it's off, then after 5 min it goes on, for no reason? What could be the problem??

Oil level? I'm assuming you mean brake fluid is filled...Or maybe it's because you put oil in your master cylinder! Other than that, if it's cold where you live the cable might be freezing and sticking...

Sorry, brake fluid level
I didn't put anything in that since I bought the car. And it's not freezing here, so it can't be that either.

I'd suggest filling the master cylinder to the "max" line with brake fluid, even a little over...odds are when you turn the fluid sloshes and throws your sensor off, and possibly the sensor is a little slow...let me know how you come out. You might even have a faulty sensor if it's possible.

There is an adjustment nut for the e-brake cable, remove the center console, and it is on the ebrake, i think it is a 10mm socket, tighten that up a bit would probably fix the problem.
