rear factory speaker hole size

I would like to know if you take out the rear Bose speaker assembly, then what size speaker will directly fit in the opening? If you dont have the Bose in your car then what do you have back there?

The exact replacement for Bose is 6x9. They bottom mount, so you don't have to do anything from inside the cabin, just get in the trunk. You can use the brackets that are already there, so all you have to do is remove the four nuts per speaker and swap in a 6x9. I have Infinity Reference 6x9s in mine right now.

I think if you take out all of the bose brackets, the hole is smaller than 6x9 (possibly 6.5?) but you would have to take apart the parcel shelf and top mount them.

without bose = 6.75" (most 6.5"s will work as well)
with bose = 6x9

Like Red92MaxSE said, the 6x9 just remove the 4 bolts holding the speaker up in the trunk. If you don't have bose, the rear seat and deck will need to be taken off before you can get to your speakers.
