fill er up (i think)
I have a 91 se, sometimes when I go to fill the gas tank the gas pump will keep clicking off like the tang is full, but I know it is empty. I can't imagine what would make this happen. If this has happened to anyone else please let me know.
you're probably not making the seal correctly with the nozzle.
the other option is that your fuel tank filler neck is pinched - in that case the gas isn't flowing into the tank fast enough backing up and making the nozzle think your tank is full.

Does the gas needle varify it's empty?
Do you go 100 miles before the gas warning light comes on again?
A little more varification on how you know the tank still empty. I realize you probably have obvious reasons to say the tank still empty but in a case like this I just want to make sure all areas have been covered.
