Safe Mode

Safe Mode

I own a 93 SE Automatic DOHC Maxima, after I thought I messed up my transmission someone suggested it was in "safe mode" I was wondering the process to take it out of safe mode.

Never heard of it.
the engine has a limp home mode, in the ECU.

pull over, turn off car wait about 30-45 seconds and restart and see if it starts offin first rather than 3rd
