ABS - Short? Where? How?

I've had my silver Max for sale for a week, but all the people who've looked at it seem to be disapointed that it didn't have a radio (was junk, so I took it out), so I installed a factory cassette deck (using the factory harness and factory speakers as well). Trouble is....., all of a sudden my ABS warning light came on, and won't go out??! I didn't even touch the ABS computer in the trunk, and as far as I know the wiring for the radio shouldn't have effected it, and the car hadn't moved an inch between the ABS light NOT being on before the radio went in......, to the ABS light being on with the radio in.
I'm not new to installing radios, and like I said, it's all stock stuff, so I'm a little confused about what's going on here. Obviously this little ABS light won't help me in selling it (may as well have left the radio out!).
I've disconnected the battery overnight to reset the computer, and I've unplugged the ABS wiring from the master cylinder, and checked the brake fluid level - all is fine, or didn't clear the light.
Any suggestions??
