1991 maxima sound system...

I am trying to take the sound system out of my maxima and i am curious if anyone knows about where the facotry amps are located, and what wattage they are.

Thanks

Do you have Bose or not? If you do the amps are located right next to the speaker in the rears, and in the pod with the speakers in the front...if you don't have Bose I think there's one amp in the back underneath the rear deck, and am not sure if there's one for the front...probably is somewhere.

look at your rear speakers....if they're 6x9's then you have the bose. if they're 6.75" round speakers, then you don't have bose (this is taking into consideration that no one messed with the system in your car yet)
