non lsd to lsd
i have a 90 SE and i may get a junk 93. do they have an LSD and can i swap the axle? will it work, and can i easily move the dohc vg30de into the car as well? sorry for the newbie question.

if you're going to swap just the tranny, you'll need the axles and hubs (as stated above). but you'll need to check out the transmission code on the firewall of the 93 to find out if it in fact does have lsd. not all 92-94 se came with lsd so there's no guarantee.
ig you're going to swap the engine as well, you'll need the main wiring harness (not 100% though), ecu, guage cluster and essentially any part from the engine bay that is different or un-compatible with the vg30e engine bay setup.

only benefits are posi burnouts and it will get you off the line better. Is this an automatic or manual? I'm pretty sure all 92-94SE 5speeds were LSD. Look for the V at the end of the tranny code on the firewall. If it says RS5F5OV (5speed) it is an LSD. Auto LSD would be RE4F04V. Good luck
