Hey everyone. I need to replace my air filter and was wondering if it was worth paying over $50 for a K&N one. Its the stock replace one I might get. Does anyone have one? DOes it give u more power? Also, I need new suspension.....any advice?? Thanx

A drop in K&N filter is doing little other then saving you the hassle of buying a new one, but if you ask me its more hassle cause you gotta clean the darn thing, little to no power gains will be expirenced.

With just the drop in filter you won't feel any difference. If you have $50 then I would buy a K&N cone filter and an adapter off Ebay.

I tried the drop in k&n, waste of money in my opinion.Get a cone filter or a CAI. Do a search of this forum you should find a good deal of info on suspensions.

Filter

yeah, I bought the replacement type as well. As far as I can tell there is no extra h/p, and like these guys said you have to recharge it about every 60k miles. If you have the money bro, go with the cone type. Another question for you guys, when I purchased my air filter replacement the guy tells me there was no cone type for my 94 SE. I had a hard time believing him. What do you guys think?
