Unorthodox UDP for VG

Unorthodox told me that Gate belts:
Alternator K040292
PS K040395
AC K040460
fits VG engines but after I putted it on, it seems like the AC and Alternator belts are still a little loose. I've already max out the supporting bolts and it still feel a little loose. Any of you guys had any of these problems? Would you know if these were the right belts? If not, which belt models did you used?

btw, I am using Napa version which is the same as Gate cuz Gate makes all of Napa belts and the model/sizes that I am using is:
Alternator: 25-040292
AC: 25-040460

The alternator belt shouldn't be loose. Mine was a perfect fit. I did have a problem with the AC belt. The 040460 belt was too big. I used the 040450 size belt. It fit perfectly. You might want to get to get another alternator belt just in case. Go one size smaller. You can always take it back.

I sent an e-mail to Unorthodox Racing back in March telling them about the VG alternator belt and they said that they would update their instructions. Guess not.

thanks guys. I've finally found the right belt sizes that fit right.

AC: K040450 (45.75" long)
Alternator: K040285 (29 1/8" long)

just take out the letter 'k' and replace it with '25-' if you're going for napa. who would've thought installing these belts be such a pain. now I am left with a broken alternator bolt stuck inside the block because of the xxx292 belt. oh well, just as long as the ride improves afterward then i am all straight.

I just want to know how hard is it to do because I am approaching the time when my belts are needed to be replaced so I figure that I might as well replace my pulley too. What's needed to do this job abd E.T. of doing it?

go to napa and pick up belts:

PS 25 - 040395
AC 25 - 040450
Alternator 25 -040285

then you'll need to get an impact wrench. i got one for sell if you need it. beside that ...everything elses are pretty easy, except for the PS belt. that thing aint' easy, I gotta take my entire udp off and attach the belt to it, then force it on the crankshaft. not very convenient. but at least I was able to tighten it down with no problems.

I can't say the car accelerates any better. However, the gas pedal does feels a little lighter than before. It takes a little lesser effort to foot the pedal. I only paid $115 back in Jan for a blemished one. So, if you could get this price or less, then yes its worth it.
