91 SE 5spd. I have the following replaced:
O2 sensor
fuel injectors
PCV valve
cleaned MAF sensor
water temp sensor
cat converter
y-pipe
muffler

Why is my car "peppy" when its first started, then when the temp guage reaches the normal temp it seems like its bogged down? Please help.

 

damn,after those routines its hard to say.how many miles on the motor/timing belt/clutch..ur clutch might be slipping at high rpms.

 

on a VE I'd say knock, but on a VG
it's obviously a sensor that kicks in when the car goes into closed loop mode

 

So there isn't a knock sensor on the VGs?

The engine has 150k and the timing belt was done at 111k

 

there is one, but it's on the side of the block. and rarely goes bad from what I hear
