few questions about maxima. -new owner-

hey guys, here's a few questions for you. first off, how hard would it be to put the digital dash from an 89 maxima into a 93.

anyway, the real reason for this post is to ask about the cruise control. it quit working on me the other day, and i don't know what is causing it to not work. the light on the main switch will come on, but the light on the dash won't nor will it work at all. i installed a remote starter and that's when i noticed it stoped working, so i unhooked everything and made sure all the harness were connected, but it still didn't work. can anyone help??? before anyone says anything, i have checked all the fuses, and they are still good. can anyone help me trouble shoot this to find out where the problems is?

thanks.

ummm I think you need to go read the responses for the digital dash we left you on the other board.

We left you some good info here.

yeah, i read that, i didn't know if there might be users on this forum that doesn't visit the other....

oh, and i did check all the fuses. I'll give you a little of my background since no one knows me here. I know how to do electrical work. in my last car, 93 toyota celica, i installed the auto climate control from an all-trac turbo into my car which had the manual air control. the swap from auto air with the maxima is a very easy swap compaired to this swap since you have to change out all the motors, and rewire the entire system. i said something on the other forum that i only wish it was as easy as a fuse... besides, that is the very first thing i will look at. anyone else have any other advise????
