Trunk switch......missing

Hey guys......It seems like someone took the Trunk switch out of my car. There is no sign of the control, or the module inside the door (From the outside view). So imagine a big hole is the spot where the trunk control is.....and everything being missing.

ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD GET A NEW ONE AND GET IT FIXED

thanks

boneyard? Maybe look in the for sale/wanted forums and see if anyone is parting out a Max.

I had my trunk switch out recently, and it's identical in shape and function to all the other rectangular spring switches around the steering columb, for example the rear window defogger. You could, for example, control it with a different switch you found at a wrecker, if you couldn't find a trunk switch. Chances are one should be available at a wrecker though. The part may even be available at Nissan. If you're really desperate, you can just rewire it to a conventional spring switch.

Talk to 1989MaxMan He found alot 3rd gens in the local junkyard. You can probably get one cheap from him.

But I'd check out the local junkyards first.

I wish I could do all that rewiring stuff myself.

Anyone have any clue as to replacing or re-inserting a trunk switch in the door panel.

Thanks

Ok....I finally found the trunk module/switch....

Now does anyone know how to install this thing. On my car....It looks like someone cut out the place where the trunk button goes under the door panel.

Any hints or instructions would be appreciated......

Thanks
