Is there a reason you are keeping the "Attention New Users" STICKY?
I don't mean to flog a dead

horse, but surely you aren't ever going to enable the SEARCH feature again. Will you?

It stays because when search comes back, I won't have to write all the crap down again and make a sticky.

look at the feedback forum and site announcements for stuff like that. the search will be back one of these years- Doug is working on trying to get some bugs worked out and it will eventually be back.
