1994 Headliner - Bad Shape

I need to replace my 1994 Maxima headliner, but I'm not sure how to get it out. I found the screws behind all the little plastic caps. How do I get the side pieces off. When I pull, it seems I'm breaking something.
Thanks

well if you're replacing it why does it matter if you break it? I gotta replace mine too...it was in perfect condition but then the other day i was backin out and looked up and looked like a cat freaked out on my headliner...damn friends lol
looks like the black suede headliner/pillars might have to be done now hehe
