I only real question is, how to remove the bottom tabs on the grille? You have to stick a flathead screwdiver through the grill, but the tabs are below the bumper. I know I'm missing something really easy, but I'm not sure what to do...

Just stick your hand behind the grille and push the tabs out. You have to squeeze them but its not too hard.

There shouldnt be anything below the bumper with the grille though.

There are 2 on each side that go to the light brackets and one in the center. Unless you grille is pushed down it shouldnt be behind the bumper.
