Hi, Im new to the forum. I have pair of HID's taken off of a 2003 maxima
some wires look missing but all the Xenon bulb is in place and untouched. Is there a way I can put these on my 93 se. And roughly how much would it cost to get it done.

first of all, welcome to the forum...

As to your question, you might wanna re-word the part about the HIDs being 'taken off', as some folks here may take that to ASSume that you might be a bit unscrupulous in your parts acquisition practices.

But is the ballast intact? And what about the wires leading FROM the ballast, away from the socket? Those wires are the key.

thanks, Yea the ballast is intact. There is also a thick orange wire coiled up, that is also intact.

if your trying to retrofit the hid bulbs/ballast into the 3rd gen light housing, it wont "work"...... 3rd gen bulbs are 9004, 5th gen hids are not

you should just sell them here to someone that needs em'. take the money from the sale and buy youself a set of hid's that will fit the 3rd gen housing. that is....if you really want hid's shining through those halogen projectors...

For the $$ you could get from selling those, you could buy the euro E36 projectors and an H1 HID kit.

I used a 9004 HID kit in my third gen, very bright, very useable, but not a very good beam pattern.
