Reset ECU

Just a quick one. How do I reset the ECU. I thought I read once that you can do it by turning the switch on the side of the ECU. I need the exact procedure.

Much appreciated.

I always thought you could just disconnect the battery cable for a few minutes.

You Can Disconnect The Neg. Side Of The Battery Cable Or Pull The Engine Control Fuse In The Fuse Box.

turn the screw on the ecu as far as it can go clockwise, then turn it back counter clockwise as far as it will go. that will reset your ecu.

turn it clockwise all the way, wait for 4 blinks then turn counter clockwise.

passenger side footwell to the left, behind the black panel.
