Kaleb is the one who makes the custom grilles. I did my own in a similar fashion, but will not be selling them as a courtesy to Kaleb. He sells grilles, I do stereo stuff.
(but I have to wait until after IASCA Finals this year, or someone may get me on a legality and I'll be forced to compete as pro.)

the 3-series lights can be purchased anywhere you can find them.. there are no "kits" out there to do the conversion. it's a 100% custom thing.

as for more power, I'd say start with an cone filter/intake ($60-120) or a cold air intake ($220).
after that, look at a y pipe ($400) and rest of the exhaust ($). then do some throttle body and intake work ($=0, it's all labor costs), then get a chip ($550 from JWT I think).
if that's still not enough power, beef up your tranny and buy a NOS kit.

that's about all that's out there for bolt-on or easy mods. anything over that will require serious machining on the engine or rebuilding from the block up.

BMW lights

i have done the mod it was a pain in the *** it took me about 15 hours of measureing but i think i can duplicate the process but u do have to modify the grill a lil bit like save the sides..... i can get the light pretty cheap brand new.... but i do need a donor max headlight because i use the factoy headlight braket on the max so u can use the factory corner light.... but u do have to cut the radiator support where the headlight goes into because the bmw head light is a lil longer and u have to cut u 9004 headlight sockect and get a 9006 and 9005 socket... its worth the mod
and u have the abilty to raise and lower the beam on the new mod i got pics of the finished product on the car just email me raequan@aol.com.... i can also put real HID bulbs in......

Brandon did the mod, too. You can ask him since he posts on here often.

Because for some perverted, derrranged, unfathomable reason Nismo87SE seems to be resurrecting old, OLD topics from the past
