Engine Type

Could someone tell me how I can tell if my 1991 Maxima is DOHC or SOHC. I am about to order a bod kit from Stillen and they need to have this info. All the engine has on it is V6 3000.

I forgot to mention the engine model # is VG30E.

Why would the engine type matter on a body kit???

Thanks all, I found a site were one guy explain the third gen max engine types very well. Here is the link: http://members.csinet.net/tisch/maxima/. broncoguy, you are right as far as the body kit is concerned, but they asked becasue I was also ordering a strut bar.

that site is in the FAQ post at the top of this forum along with several other useful sites with lots of info regarding 3rd gens

because the VE has brake cooling ducts
