antenna question

I want to shave off my stock antenna and put a small antenna on the roof, probably the benz or the saab style antenna. I was wondering if anyone has done it and knows how to rewire up to the roof. Someone please let me know. Thanks alot!

why dont you just get the window antenna and blend it into the rear defrost instead of having that thing on your roof and having to drill the roof.

we already have the antenna in the rear window. it works fine with a stock head unit but once you put in an aftermarket head unit your recpetion goes all to H3LL.
you could always re-route the wiring from the antenna mast in the trunk to your head liner. i don't know of anyone here that's done this but it wouldn't be that hard at all.
here's a pic of my car with the shaved antenna...
