car stalling, again

I Have NO Clue What To Do!!!! I Have A 92 Maxima 3.0 sohc and when i'm drving it stalls. I think it may be the ignition module but any suggetions would help!! Thanks Alot!
Okay, I got up the courage yesterday to take it for a ride when the battery died. After a jump i went driving and it kept dying when i was decelerating, at a stop, or even just letting off of the gas going about 20. it doesn't die when you go fast but i'm just out of ideas. Please Help

Right off the top it sounds like your alternator is not charging your battery.

battery, MAF, EGR...

replace/fix the charging system first and then go from there.

matt93se, What the heck is the maf, and the egr. Sorry i'm retareded. I was thinking maybe it was the oxygen sensor or the ignition module. Do you think those two are coming into play here? Thanks!

If you have to keep getting it jumped, you've got other electrical issues first. fix that, then see what happens.

If the electricals don't fix the problem, I would bet on it being the MAF (mass air flow sensor).

How old is your battery and what make? Sounds like it does not hold the charge. Another possibility is that is is being drained while you are driving, which means brushes and voltage regulator on the alternator are dead. Check the charge first, it is simple: put a voltmeter to the battery, it should show about 12V, then start the car. It must go up to about 13.8V or so. If it goes down or stays same - no charge.

Sounds more like an alternator problem all the time.

yeah im betting on alternator, test charging system with a multimeter/voltmeter, make sure the battery mantains 13.8 volts with engine idling and mutliple accessories on. if you dont have a multimeter get one if you plan on diagnosing your own car problems at all. it does sound possible that you have more than one prob tho, but as others said, start with charging system. if you cant figure this out this weekend we live in the same city, so maybe i could come take a look at it if i have time

you dont happen to have any idiot lights illuminated in your dash do you?
