blinking air bag light

Saw this same post in 4th gen forum. It said to get in the car, turn ign on then off, open door and push interior light switch 5 times in 7 seconds, close door and turn ign on and off again and it would reset the light. That didn't work. Is there a procedure for our gen? Should I have got, out spun around three times and sacrificed a chicken?

first, sacrifice the chicken, then....

Seriosly, I had to do this too. start with ignition off, turn the ignition on, then hit the door light button 5 times within 7 seconds, turn the ignition off, then take a peak.
It worked for my 92 SE. I had to try a few times. Good luck.

Wrong. Turn the ignition on, hit the door light switch 5 times within 7 seconds, then take a peak.
