03 Wheels on 3rd GEN

I am pretty sure these wheels will fit our cars, but I just wanna make sure..They are from an 03 SE and are Titanium (supposedly).. Does anyone have them on their max, and do they rub at ALL???? And will they be ok with GR-2's and Eibach Prokit (1.2" drop)???
And if I have to get spacers for some reason, do they affect performance in any way??? I'm also thinkin about the BBK to go with these wheels???

What do u guys think about them???

or these ones, but I dont know what kind year max these are from:

What is your opinion???? Any other max rims, you think will look better on my White GXE with Eibachs???

They will fit on our car, although I don't think they will clear BBKs.

don't get OEM maxima wheels for your 3rd gen..... I just think that looks so tacky....get some nice aftermarket wheels like the Moda R6. That's my opinion

Pick between these two 5th gen Rims

Which rims would look better on my white 3rd Gen..with Eibach ProKit. I dont think there is any performence difference between the two.

5th gen SE wheels tacky on the 3rd gen? hmmm. you need to take your head out of your ****, me thinks. tacky would be 19" chromies with spinners.

yes, the 5th gen's will fit in most cases perfectly. i have seen it done a few times. looks great. lower the car, though.

The rims are not titanium - that's just marketing speak for the tint in the paint on the wheels. They're just plain OEM cast aluminum.

Personally, I look the look of the '03 SE wheel on our 3rd Gens - especially on a black car!
Any idea on the weight of each wheel tho?

Look at my sig. I know these are the ones that you are talking about but they are not 17" they only came in 16". I personally like how 5 spoke rims look on any car. But on a lowered 3rd gen they look really good.

As for the 17" SE wheels they look nice. I have seen them on the same color gen has mine and they looked decent but to each their own.

I've seen the 5 spoke 16" wheels on a 3rd gen. Craig has them on his car. I just think that the 17" SE or 17" GLE will stand out more...

People have put 300zx rims on 89-94 maximas...and I'm not a big fan of the results. I've seen it done in person with 90-96 Z rims, which the wider tires look pretty cool I guess, but overall IMO it just doesn't work out to well. And of course the like late 80s Z rims look really similar to the Maxima SE rims from our years.

Daaayyyyymmmmm. That is close to how I want my SE to look. Let me ask you, is that a repaint? If so, did you have it done at a real body shop or at Maaco or some other “inexpensive” shop? I see you also had the mirrors repainted also. Nice.

it was painted at nissan back in 92 yes stock paintjob, its got its little chips/fades here and there but overall still good for 12 yrs old

the tint, its this film called llumar. it appears darker probably because it was cloudy out and the black interior.. its wierd, at certain light/angles it looks like i have no tint and other times i have painted black windows

i cant drive the car period, motor is out and in my garage for surgery

as for the paintjob, take my 3rd gen and my moms 3.5 se.. the hoods on both cars have about the same amount of pitting/chips, and an age difference of 11 yrs.........

I would like to disagree with #5....my stock paint job was terrible, and is still terrible. Yellow spots, and random spots and ingrained gunk. (i wish i had this car since it was new, maybe i could've taken care of it) Anyway, go with the SE rims, the GLE rims are ghey.

have you ever seen the front end of a 5th gen. Even 40k mile ones are for the most part showing massive signs of aging. just look at all the chips and such, its horrible.
