its what separates ur engine bay from ur interior. just get on ur back or just crouch down where ur gas pedal and brake pedal r and just look straight under ur steering wheel. that dark area under ur steering wheel facing u is ur fire wall. if u go to ur engine bay it also holds ur brake master cylinder and other components in place. that should answer ur question.

thank you, but i asked wrong, i know what firewall is, what i meant was, where is the hole in the firewall to run the wires through, im just trying to run a couple wires and a little fuse holder through so i can install my switch.

just need to know the location of that hole. is it on far right side right behind the main fuse block? or where? does it go straight through or will wires have to create an S curve to go through?

once again, thanks

best bet is to drill a hole next to the brake booster

there is a large rubber gromet that the main engine room harness goes through and its in the drivers side wheel well behind the splash gaurd. if you use this just be very carful not to hit any of the curent wires running through it or youll be screwed

i know i seem like a newb, so i wont try to make reputation here any better by asking the smart questions. lol

.. where's the brake booster? where should be hole be drilled and how big is the maximum diameter for drilling a hole without letting in too much engine noise in? maybe wrapping it around with something would do the trick?

this is a picture of the brake booster

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

i went just the the left of this and drilled a 1/2in holse but i was running 4ga throught so if your just running some small wires you could drill a smaller hole

just rap electric tape around the wires that go throught the hole so it kind of seals up the hole and doesnt short out the wires

Any new hole through bare metal should have a new rubber grommet installed that fits tight in the hole with just enough room left in the center for the wires. The metal will eventually cut through tape unless it is REALLY thick.
