Window regulator going?

Window regulator going?
This morning, when I was rolling up my front passenger window, it stopped about an inch from the top, I tried going up and down, but it wouldn't go up all the way. But a little later, I pushed the up button several times lightly, and it finally rolled up.
I assume the regulator went, but it was also the coldest day it's been in the past 8 months (close to 70F brrrr.....
(arizona) )
Definatly window regulator? And where is a good place to get a new one.

I'm having the same problem.....
What are signs that the regulator is not working properly or needs replacing?
AND
What are signs that the motor is not working properly?
Because my windows just doesn't stay up.....I opened up the door....and still couldn't tell what was source of the problem. Thanks

I've had to fix my window assembly twice. First time the regulator went and the cable bow-tied. The second time the cable practiced clove hitches inside my door. I was lucky enough to pick up the whole assembly for $10 at the local junkyard for the first explosion, and mix and match parts for the second explosion.
If you bring the window all the way down, assuming you can, you can look inside the door from the top to see if your cable is binding anywhere. You might even be able to tell if the cable is loaded into the track properly. What I did for mine, once I saw it was seized, was to remove the window, regulator, and track. I think in total its like nine 10mm bolts. The window has to be down in order to remove the window from the track housing easily. I think its easier to work/diagnose when the whole thing is out of the car, laid out in front of you.
Courtesy Nissan of Texas has some pretty good parts at decent prices: http://www.courtesyparts.com. If I were you I would take up internetautomar on his offer of $45 plus shipping, good price. I believe the price at Courtesy is like $78.
