Stillen body kit question

Stillen body kit question
i have a 92SE, and I'm gonna get the stillen body kit for my car. I wanna know exactly what pieces the kit comes with. I know it comes with the rear valence and the driver side and passenger side rockers. But does it also come with a new front bumper, or is it an addition to existing stock bumper. I need to know, thanks.

By rocker panel I assume you mean side skirts, because thats what the stillen kit comes with. No there is no welding, or cutting or fabbing of any sort, except drilling holes and sticking wood screws in the afore mentioned holes.

Read the whole thread. The original poster asked if the front lip was a bumper replacement or just an add on. Then Jeff said "I'm guessing your front bumber is all messed up and you were hoping that the front portion was a full replacement?"
The original poster replied back and said "you got it my friend, right on!". This means the guy needs a new front bumper and the other guy was helping him out and telling him where some were.
You gotta read man.

you can install it yourself...its not hard.
Paint will vary from place to place so you just need to get an estimate. Figure about $200 but it could be less or even more depending if they actually try to color match it or just paint it by the code.

lets see...
get the good 3M tape...not the cheaper stuff they sell at Wal Mart etc. A paint and body supply shop should have it.
get some wax/grease remover and clean the kit edges where you will put the tape and then instll the tape.
leave kit in sun for a little while.
clean the body line with the wax/grease remover where the tape is going to be.
when using the wax/grease remover be sure to read the directions. Be sure to wipe off the solvent before it dries or you will just let the contaminants settle back down on the paint.
put the kit up to the body and bend and form it to match the body and get it held in place with clamps and blocks etc.
drill a couple of holes in the fender well for the corner of each kit, drill a couple of holes in the rear behind the license plate for the back piece and a couple of holes in the front corner (behind the fog lights or fog light holes if you dont have fog lights) for the front piece.
Now start to undo the tape but dont undo the whole thing...just pull enough up to get you started. press the kit down in that area and peal the tape as you go and press down the kit along the way.
Then put some pop rivets or stainless screws in the corners, rear and front then you are done.
This is not an exact or maybe not even the best way but its the way I did it.
Also have a heat gun ready to help form the kit...leaving it in the sun should make it easy enough to form it but its always good to have extra help. A hair dryer will not work.

I am sure there are some cut rate places that will do it for that though.
