Stupid Plastic Hat

Does anyone really like that plastic sunshade on the top of the sunroof? It seems to me that it creates drag, wind noise and flutters at high speed. Looks better with it off too.

do you have a pic? Does it sit ontop of the paint? if so thats a wind deflector, actually makes it abit quieter, its no biggy though.

post counts mean nothing (i kid, i kid).

I had to replace mine, {cracked} when i got the old one off , it had rubbed all the paint off.

No problem, I think mine are much quieter without them. I just wondered if anyone actually LIKED them. The car looks sleeker without it.

I like mine

I can leave my moonroof open when I'm driving on the highway and not have to crank my music insanely loud. I do think it blends in best with a black car, since it is smoke-colored.

I Like it, I can leave sunroof open a bit and the rain doesn't come in.
it also served as an eye level way to differentiate between my max and another almost identical one that was near mine..

I don't think it was an option, more like an accessory, along the lines of the cargo net for the trunk. Neither of my two maximas had them.

I took mine off a few weeks ago and i haven't noticed a change in noise. IMHO it looks alot better with it off. If anyone wants to buy mine, i'm up for negotiating.

Anyone have a pic of the the trunk cargo net!
