Warpspeed problems

i got my warpspeed exhaust about 2 weeks ago and me and my buddy were installing it and everything was going well until we got to the "s-shaped" pipe, it didnt exactly fit. the pipe wasnt bent enough. so we bent the pipe ourselves and basically ruined it but got it to fit. i called warpspeed and dallas said he could hook me up with the same pipe for free so i got it and still it didnt fit. it doesnt run the valley that is provided for the exhaust. anyone else have problems with warpspeed like this or am i the "unlucky" one. thanks jarrod

exhaust is really weird...if you don't have the front pieces lines up..the rest of the exhaust won't line up.

perhaps a visit to a exhaust shop might be in order?

I have had my wsp setup for about a year now and it was a piece of cake to install. Other than the rusted bolts that I needed to fight with. I had no fitment problems and Dallas was great. Maybe you got the wrong Y-pipe. the VE and VG are different you know.

I agree with that but if he ordered the wrong parts he could have fitment problems.

Also, what size (if any) resonator did you get?

if his Y-pipe is S-shaped then someone really messed up.

the pipe that comes after the resonator pipe is shaped somewhat like an "s" correct? that pipe seemed like it just wasnt bent enough or should i say it definately wasnt bent enough

i had the exact same problem. the outlet of the s pipe would come out angled crooked and would end up pointing to the middle-back of the car and at an upward angle. i just gave up after numerous attempts at trying to fix it, including going back to the cat and trying to line it up better and just took it to a muffler shop. he installed the rest of my exhaust, put hangars on the muffler to the car, along with hangars by the mid pipe and the cat for 40 bucks, great deal in comparisn to the other shops.

Im having almost the same problem.. where the manifold bolts to the y pipe seems like it should be angled instead of going straight up... both manifolds come down on an angle and point toward the rear of the car...

Try Mandrel Exhaust Systems' 3rd gen catback system then......it's a tubing kit for about $120 and it fits!
