testing harness
I went to test my harness on my knock sensor to see if its working....what side of the harness to i check for resistance? do i check the harness going into the main wire harness or the one that goes to the KS? also.. if I unplugged my knock sensor would it run like the car is cold?

edit: would unplugging the knock sensor harness make the engine run as if the knock sensor is good? or could you get a new knock sensor, and just plug it into the harness and not necesarily put the sensor in the motor....just lay it somewhere and plug it in? would that work?
