Rattle at 115mph?
So there I was, going up a slight hill on the freeway winding it up in 4th gear. I'd just shifted into 5th and hit 115mph when a loud clattering rattle commenced in the front/right, forcing me to slow down.
It was just a noise, there was no vibration or instability. It gradually subsided as I slowed, and then it went away.
My best guess is the hood was fluttering, though I didn't see it doing so. Anyone else experience this?
By the way, I was impressed with the car. It felt very stable and was still accelerating at 115mph even going up a slight incline. This is a stock old beater with 170,000 miles, a '93 SE 5spd.

The car does not have the plastic "visor" but the sunroof doesn't seat firmly, and it's possible it began to flutter.
The sound was loud and scared the bejezus outa me. Well, any loud rattle would at that speed.
