Knock Sensor Bad???
Do you think my Knock Sensor is bad? I just bought a '92 SE 5-speed & the engines got 60,000 miles on it. The car had a new engine dropped in and Im not sure if they replace the KS, if not than its got 200K on it!!!
Also, How much is a new one @ the Dealer? Thanx Alot!

The knock sensor is on the engine, so whatever the miles are on the engine (not the chassis) are the miles on the KS, unless it was replaced and then it would have less miles on it.
You will usually know when the knock sensor starts to go. After the car gets really warm (say after 45 minutes to an hour of non-stop driving) the car feels very sluggish. At least that's what mine did.
