Tranny Cooler etc..... on my new max

ok I'm sure this question has been answered before but I had trouble finding it on previous posts. whats the best place to order a Tranny cooler for a 92 maxima GXE? I remember someone saying a place that honors membership here as a 20% discount. and also, how much work is involved in installing one? will I need a lift? I have worked on cars somewhat so its not like I'm mechanacally challenged.
Oh by the way I did buy that 92 GXE maxima auto transmission with 138,000 miles for $3000. I checked it out and besides a few small dents it was close to perfect working order. and according to the records the transmission fluid was changed on a regular basis and when I opened the resivor it wasn't black and lumpy but almost clear. I did notice a slight rattle at 65 when driving it home, any thoughts on that? Also, I would like to do as much preventative maintence as possible any suggestions? should I have the tranny flushed right away and have a tune up? what brands should I use for distributer, plugs, wires, air filter, oil filter etc... what type of oil should I use? What octane gas? one other thing, the power door locks seem to stop working once in awhile. I pressed the button, and it sounded like a relay clicked, but the locks didn't do anything. I waited a little while and tried again and they worked fine. thans so much for your help I love the car already.

The 25% discount is for Courtesy Nissan in Texas http://www.courtesyparts.com . I don't know if they sell tranny coolers but the general consensus on the boards is Hayden tranny coolers are the way to go. I believe they are available at your local Pep Boys. As for the distributor, et cetera, I would buy from Courtesy Nissan, which sells OEM replacement parts at a 25% discount to Maxima.org members. For gas, the manual for my 94 GXE says 91 octane is recommended but 89 is acceptable. Personally I put 93 in because the motor has 132,000 miles and I don't wanna mess around with the knocking. Which power door lock switch doesn't work sometimes?
I don't know where you checked your transmission fluid, but there is no resevoir. Transmission fluid should be clear and red.
I used a B&M cooler (model 70255), which has a better design than the Haydens. I got it from Jegs for about $50 with shipping. If the fluid is in good shape wait a year before changing it.
