I remember someone telling me that they sold front speaker mounting brackets for our car that upgraded the speaker size to a 6.5in. cant remember who made them...interested cause im gonna start getting stuff for my new system soon and want 6.5in all around

andy can u post the information on this thread so that others can find out about it as well. i did mine 6.5 all around as well, but i used the original mounts. I cut the originals to fit the 6.5's in the front.

I used MDF board to act as the spacer & mount...

I painted mine black and thought I had some pics of them but apparently I don't..

 

i just got mine in the mail last week. now for the amp..

 

i dont know what i was thinking. Those are 6x9's in my door. They aren't 6.5's. I think most of you realized that but for those of you who didn't....they are 6x9.
