In the garage: my two maximas
Durango + tow dolly on the street
Jimmy infront of one garage door
Surburban infront of the middle
Mom's Outback infront of the black maxima's garage door
Then since the durango had the tow dolly my sister drove my Dad's 5th gen up, that was parked behind the Jimmy.

All that was left was my dads bimmer and my mustang and we would have a full driveway. Come and get me HOA!

Well it's been sitting outside since febuary. Rotors are rusted, Engine is "blown". At first I thought it might have been VTC's or a stud, but we'll see. I tried cranking it over a few times and it started spewing oil on the ground. Too tired to bother looking.

It has a good tranny, and a few other parts I wanted/needed for my car. I would like the black car again, but i would spend too much time detailing it, we'll see .

Yeah... I might have done that, too - except it'd be awfully HARD to drive a golf cart in three BILLION feet of snow!

Well since I cant drive for work anymore I dont need a beater lol. I set a budget of $1000 for everything for this car, right now after towing I'm at about $516 after towing (Didn't know about insurance until we got there, and decided it was a good idea since it was 200 miles and rainy, that was $25, plus $8 for a tow ball).

Body is alittle rough, same with the interior. We'll see. Right now I'm going to swap all the good parts over to my white car (I guess, I like the black but ). Swap engines into the black car and sell it for a small profit.

small ammount of OT:
During the Drive my Dad came up with the idea that if I move back in with him, get back to BCC, and sell all my cars then I can "have" (but not have have) the 5th gen to drive then I can put all that money into a mutual fund or some kind of investment. Only thing is then I will have a 'leash' on me, plus its a 5th gen . Mewants to keep my white maxipad and my scarey car

Where you are going to get another engine? I personally don't think how you are going to benefit from the black car. Either way, you will have a maxima w/ no engine

Here's a plan. Sell me the car after you take stuff out of it. I have the perfect engine/tranny to go in there. Save yourself the hassle.

Hey, Shawn. I think I mentioned this before, but I will sell you all of the stuff from my old engine for $150 with a brand new engine stand ($50 value). The bottom half should be fine and you can take the heads/intake/injectors/coil packs from the black car (mine could still be good, but I don't know...). You can also have all of the boxes of misc parts, which include the JDM equipment and a lot of wire connectors and stuff. The only thing I want off of it are the rebuilt VTCs and the coil packs. I already sold the injectors. With all of that stuff and what you have on the car, you should easily be able to put something together with a little labor on your part.

If you know someone with a small pickup (that gets 20 mpg or better), it would only cost you about $50 in gas round trip. The gas expense goes up quite a bit for a big truck, though. I think I spent about $75 (maybe a little more) on my mom's truck when I came up there last time, but hers is a diesel and gets crap gas mileage because of the stuff done to it.

Try to let me know soon, since I need to give the engine hoist back probably in the next few weeks or so.

so thats why you keep saying rod knock

hehehehehe I might just be, I haven't really looked at it yet, just got home from work and its cold as hell outside. Will keep it in mind though.

I just realized tonight that I only made $21 instead of $50-60 just in tips plus its about half the hours I'm gonna get the ball rolling on the cars then go back to job searching

Goner, i need a couple interrior parts from your black car. or the white one, doesnt matter. I just need the two plastic triangular fan covers that go on ur dashboard. i took mine out a year ago, cause a friend broke one, and the other one was broken too, i could break them like a damn tortilla chip. Need new ones

let me know, just the two pieces, and if possible, black window pillars. ill give u my bluish ones for you to sell with the black car

meh, could just be a busted stud, we'll see

charged up the battery for ~7 hours yesterday. Gonna check the oil then do a compression test, I could just run it for a few mins and take a video for you guys

I gotta go help my Dad move a clients spa for a few hours though, then help anton wire his maxipad up for an amp.

Then it wasn't rod knock. If it was, it wouldn't have lasted 1 month, less a year

it was rod knock.
The oil filter let all the oil out on the ground.
I refilled it with straight 30 and STP
Ran like that for a year.
and you can drive a rod knocker for a very long time if you take care of it.

Oh damn, it's totally worthless. I'll take that pile off your hands for $50, and thats my final offer.

Ok $75...

$500?

20,000 and thats my final offer.

I had to get a factory key as well for my 94 but they made it out of some cheap *** metal-from the dealer no less, and pissed me off they charged $8 for a key.
