fuel injector replacement

fuel injector replacement

i am replacing just one of the injectors on my 90 gxe with the vg engine. i am wondering if i have to take all of the injectors and the fual rail out in order to replace the number five one

Nope, each injector is held in with two screws. Take out the screws and pull (pry) the injector out.

thanks i got it out, but now i cant get the new one in. I put some oil on the o rings, but i still cant get it in. is there some trick or do i just brute force it in?

I have a 90 se, for anyone who has replaced their injectors, did you notice any performance gains by replacing them?

if you replace your injectors (assuming they were bad) you should see a performance gain or they weren't bad
