I have an exhaust stud removal writeup

I recently replaced both front and rear manifold studs on my 1991 max SE. Not sure if this applies to 92-94 se's but i would have to think it would be close. No engine removal, no head removal. It is time consuming but really not that difficult. Of course reading everyones problems with these studs and reading all posts concerning the problems, I decided to offer a pretty detailed write up and how I did it. It may not be the best step by step instructions, but I believe it to be pretty close. It was the first time I ever tried it and it went without a hitch. Of course, I am not responsible for any damage to your car. So if you are interested. Email me and I will send you out a copy in WORD format. Good Luck

Hey... send a copy to Jeff (jeff92se) so he or another mod can post it up on the 3rd Gen FAQs...

And good looking out!

I'll be glad to host it on my server as well. email it to one of us and we'll make sure it gets put in the FAQ pages so it'll be easily accessible by all.

Thank you Matt - Stud removal

I just recently attempted a write up on Manifold stud removal. I have been wrenching cars for many years as a backyad mechanic and thru reading the ORG. I figured out how to do the dreaded manifold studs without engine removal or Head removal. Super Matt contacted me and now it is in the General Information Reference links. I hope it helps out people as much as I have been helped just reading everyones posts. My donation to the ORG. is forthcoming and is well deserved.
