Your transmission should take about 3.5 quarts to refill it. You need to check your dipstick reading and add fluid accordingly.

If you flush your transmission, then it takes significantly more fluid. ~9 quarts. Just add a little fluid at a time and keep checking the dipstick.

Liter"s
How many letre's would this be?? What would a dry refil in one of these tranny's take in litres?? Im getting my tranny flushed very soon as my shifting has become sluggish and sometimes harsh. Why can't have Nissan made our trannys to be better!!!

A dry refill is around 7.33 l, plug pull refill arond 2.5 l. The transmissions aren't all that bad. Some of the Chrysler & Ford transmissions last only half as long. If everyone followed the severe manintence schedule, and had a refill (not even an exchange) every 50k km, from day one they would probably go to 200k km without problems.
