Problem with prestige alarm

just finished running every wire that i think needs to be run. im having a small problem with the remote start part. when i activate the remote start the car cranks over turns on for like a second then turns off. after that the remote start unit trys to start it and the same thing happens 3 times. im wondering if the stock alarm needs to be deactivated. if so do clip the arm wire or do i just permanently ground the disarm wire. any clues thanks

did you power both starter wires? Nissan uses two starter wires so you'll need a relay there if you dont already.

both starter wires need to be powered to start
if its trying to turn over, then the alarm isn't doing anything to stop it

ok the car starts but it stays on for a split second then turns off. its like if its not getting the ignition wires or something. any clues thanks

EDIT started messing with it some more and it cranks but doesnt turn on. ima run a relay to the other starter wire and then post the results.

EDIT craig i just checked out your site and i noticed that yes there are 2 starter wires but the colors you got on your site are the same wire just diffrent side of the harness. what i checked was that the green red and the white and blue are the 2 starter wires. correct me if im wrong please

the wire colors do change, but regardless, there are two starter wires that need to be powered

get a test light and check all your ACC, IGN, and START connections on the car and then when you try to start it with the remote to see what comes on
ACC and IGN should come on for a minute, then just IGN and START when its attempting to start

ok tested all my wires and crap but eveything looks ok the only thing that i see that might cause a problem is that the alarm works with 2 ignition wires and the maxima only has one ignition wire
