Draining coolant from block--need help!
Ok, I started a new thread since no one was reading my previous one. Does anyone know where the engine block coolant drain valve is located on a 91 SE?? My Haynes manual isn't much help. It shows it being on the right front corner behind the alternator. My alternator is on the left front and there's no drain valve behind it. Any help would be appreciated.

it's just above the oil pan beside the alternator. it's not too hard to find so look a little closer. there's a drain bolt on the rear of the block too. it's somewhere near the power steering pump. i need to find that one still. i was looking today but i didn't have enough light to really get a decent look.
good luck

be careful when removing that bolt...some way the threads on mine ended up gettin bent when i tried screwing it back on...the local nissan dealership tried giving me a replacement...but the one they gave me wasn't snug at all and i've had problems keeping coolant in my car although i haven't seen signs of a leak.....good luck finding the one on the rear too...still never found that one!!
