tire wear issues

about a month ago i put my winter stock rims on with new tires.. they have 360 treadwear and in the front they're already going bald on the inside. i have tokico struts with B+G 1.5" drop springs... the back tires wear evenly and still look brand new. im debating on getting eibach 1.2" drop spring and see if that helps or else im just gunna get all of the regular springs/struts so it sits at the stock hight, what do i do?

You might need an alignment, or it could be your ball joints need to be replaced.

Get an alignment first.

have the shop check control arm bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, and strut mounts. all common places of wear/failure on these cars.

not 100% sure, but the eibach 1.2 is generally considered OK

Eibach says that you need to use their camber kit with the lower kit. I am having the same proble with the camber kit. I think I need to change the bushings on my lower control arms.

i cant even have it aligned because the equipment has no clearance to hook onto the wheel.. so i think im just gunna go back to stock suspension... 3 sets of front tires in 6 months is too much

Whaaa? no clearance to hook onto the wheel?

take that thing somewhere else. the guy is a retard.

If not, then put some other tires on it and drive it back onto the rack. it wont change your alignment...

Firestone checked/aligned my car with Eibachs. It's not brain surgery.

Note: my old 3-gen with Eibachs could have used some camber correction
my newer with the same suspension didn't need it

Different sets of strut mounts and the suspensions might have diff amounts of wear on them. Point being, just because you have Eibachs, doesn't automatically mean you don't/won't need some camber correction.

ACtually my old one was alot cleaner in the body/paint. Everything else is about the same as I swapped everything over except the tranny. Leather/engine/now has Konis/Eibachs etc...
