ve30de

My other question which kinda goes along with my vg30e post is about the ve30de. I know that the ve30de fits into my 90 SE but I was wondering what i need to do to swap? Are there different engine mounts, connectors, etc.? What wound I need to do the swap? Whats the easiest way to do the swap?

Again, thanks for the help.

easiest way = buy complete runnng car

other way = buy complete running donor car with bad body.
yes it can be done without a donor car, but then you need to get the ECU Wiring harness and transmission

Too bad, I sold a whole set of them on ebay for $60...

I would fix the injector before I would spend countless hours trying to do an engine swap.

Which is faster? Do you know you can do a tranny swap?

how easy is that to do? ecu, manual trans, slave cylinder, clutch master cyl?
oh well, my wife cannot drive a manual. (or i do not want to show her so she cannot drive my maxima!)

to awnser your question, the sohc is faster when the dohc misses on a cylinder. until it is fixed, anyway.
