New wheels for the winter

Hey guys, they're not really new, but I painted my wheels a flat black. To me, they turned out badass and I love them and thats all that matters! lol But, anyways, I also haven't updated my cardomain in a while, so I thought that I'd say something. I've also got pics of my not-so-ricey anymore exhaust and my new Ebay fstb. Tell me what you think.

Eh, oh well. Like I said, I like them, tons of people don't, so that just makes it even better! lol I'm unique I guess? At least no one will be copying me? lol

Wheels of steel, agreed

touched by the wheelz of steel...

maybe a clear coat would give them their body back.
so are you going to unpaint them when winter is over?

I'm planning to have my SE wheels stripped and powdercoated black. Should look good for 100 bucks or so.

Did you take the one door guard off and decide it was too hard to finish the rest lol? Or did it just fall off or something?

I dont need winter wheels

I like dark wheels, but I guess I am biased...

The stock rims aren't that great to begin with, so painting them dark is cool.

My winter wheels are black steelies, too. I was thinking about swapping the studded tires on to the stock rims, but I don't want to waste the money when they are already mounted and balanced.

They do look kind of like steelies, but I think they cool. As was mentioned though, a clear coat would probably do em good.

Yeah, well I just wanted them to look decent in the winter. Before, my wheels were corroded and they were peeling and they looked horrible. So, I sanded them down with 1000 grit sandpaper and then painted them. No, I'm not going to repaint them for the summer, I have my 17's for the summer. They're in the garage right now! I got ready for winter way too early! lol But, it was just something to do to pass the time and I had fun with it and I got some painting skills too. As for the side panels, I am actually contradicting keeping them on or not? I haven't had time to get around to all of that work and they look almost rusted or sunfaded or something? So, I have to do something about them quick. I think I'll just get them off and repaint them myself?
