i have a ticking sound coming from my engine bay. it sounds closest to the golden looking thing in the picture from the link below. it only ticks wen im accelerating/revving. wen i drive by parked cars, the sound reflects off their car and i hear it pretty loud. i dont hear it after about 3k rpms and im driving a automatic. does anyone else have/know how to fix this problem?

yeeeeeeeeeeep. thats goin to suck the big one..
it has nothing to do with that so called "gold thing" lol
- if u plan on keeping the car for a much longer time then, get thoes studs fixed asap, if their broken for a long time i think the header flang starts to warp and u hafta get new headers..
this might be the worst job u would ever hafta do...sry..

if i dont get the vg30et, im pretty much gonna get a 5th gen. sell my 3rdgen and let the buyer fix it i guess. the damage from the broken stud has prolly been done already.
thx for all the replies/responses
