O2 Sensor....?????

O2 Sensor....?????

Hey everyone...i'm hooking up my after market gauge and cant seem to get to the o2 signal wire...can anyone tell me where to tie into this???? thanks

There are two ways, the right way would be to get a diagram of the ECU and find the PIN which is the o2 signal. The other way which is the lazy way is to run a wire out through the firewall through the engine bay down behind the engine into the 02 sensor itself. If I were to do it, I would just get a PIN diagram for the ECU and tap the wire there.

I already tried going under the car and trying it that way, but 2 things with that...i found a black, red, and white wire from the o2...so i tried tieing into the white one...but it didnt work...the wire from the gauge dosent reach so i used some other wire...that cauld be my problem too...i dont know...any other help plz..thanks for the respond.

what type of sensor you hook up to o2 sensor? is it air/fuel? and you only need to hook it up to o2 sensor?

yes its an a/f...i already have the ground, signal, and power all hooked up...but i cant find where to tie into the o2 sensor signal wire.
