I have a 93 SE, and I've seen a 94 Maxima brochure, and only the Brougham had the Bose stereo... and the SE has an "electronically-tuned" stereo or something like that. Does that mean that mine isn't the Bose, the cassette deck doesn't say Bose on it, but I know in the US that the SE's came standard with the Bose setup. I just want to make sure that I don't have the same setup as the Bose (amps inline with the speaker) so I have an easy time putting in my cd player.
