in my 91 se my trunk pop is a lever\cable so it wont work with my alarm button until.....i grab from parts car...button from door panel,,popper mechanism from trunk latch area(keep the 2 mount screws),,and cut both ends plugs off (for wiring)

use the 2 mount screws and it fits right in and you can keep the cable system just add the new cable end(off the elec.1)next to the existing one in the groove

and run your wires,,mount the button(mines behind the stock one in the carpet) ,,add the plugs,, hook to alarm ,,,love it
