if you get a indash screen and indash dvd player make sure the dvd player has a reciever too, or you will have to put a reciever in. i have an indash raw screen but i have the dvd player in the glove box. with ir remote sensor relocator. it works good and cost me much less then a motorized indash.

the max doesn't have a very good record, theft-wise. you might want to consider something either removes easily (to take with) or doesn't come out at all... or upgrading the security

it will be a while before i can get one i have to save up.....and i still need a speed sensor and new tires ect....but im not sure what i want to get yet. All the ones i looked at are only rca audio cabels and id rather not buy and amp just to hook it up to my speakers so im looking for an alternative to that......

you run the rcas into your aux input of your cd reciever, or you have to get an fm modulator. i wouldnt recommend running your dvd audio output to an amp and then to speakers unless its a good quality unit.

Okay so I purchased a single din Stereo with a screen that comes up for my Maxima. Wired the thing up and screwed in the stereo in where the two M5 screws line up on the L-Brackets. Problem is, The screen hits the dash and goes back in. So for a while I had the thing screwed in with only two screws to the front of the brackets which looked horrible and put way to much strain on the the screws (not to mention it swiveled, Lol). So I went to home depot and another hardware store to get some longer screws and some spacers for the L-Brackets. Not a bit of difference. I would hate to take out the Dremel, but I am at a loss of what to do. I think the only way to do this right is to get some fabricated stereo brackets, if anyone has any suggestions I would be all Ears. Thanks.

I was thinking of getting the same thing in my max! I wanted to buy the Jensen CD/DVD/ GPS/ipod reciever all in one, but I also wanted to put 2 screens in the driver and passenger headrests like I seen some people with, or rather not inside the headrests, but attached to them, but my cigarette lighter keeps blowing fuses!

Do you have any pics of double din in the Maxima? I am thinking of putting my D3 in my 91 and would like to see it already done.
