it's to the right of the gas pedal.
you're looking at the lower metal box w/ the big wire loom going to it.

my question is related. how does one get to the bolts on the back side to take out the ecu? i bought a used jwt ecu from someone and i am having trouble removing the two bolts at the back holding the ecu in. there is hardly any clearance back there to get a screwdriver or ratchet back there. Is that the only way to take the ecu out? Or Is there an easier way to go about taking out the ecu to replace it? Thanks.

oh boy a/f gauge huh.yeah you really need to now that on a stock motor. Ok man if you could send it back to get another type gauge do it know. I would much rather beable to tell what temperture my oil is or pressure is than watching a disgo ball flashing. I had to find that out the hard way. Mine for some reason flashes to the music..huhh great! So im going to be throwing that bad boy away and going with the wide band. Ok if you must have it this is how you can hook it up. run the signal wire from the gauge to the o2 sensor Their are three wires at the sensor You want to hook it to the black wire it is the signal wire.

is there any other wires for an air/fuel gauge that you need to hook up besides the o2 wire?
